Here are some pictures of my trip to Mallorca, Spain. I wasn't that impressed with it. Nothing like Thailand but I still had fun.

Heidelberg, Germany.........Spain next week!

Went to Heidelberg this weekend. Only about an hour away. We found a river boat ride for about 6.50 euro and lasts about an hour. Heidelberg seemed like a really friendly city and the weather was great.

Berlin

Here are some pictures from my trip to Berlin last weekend. Berlin is about 6 and a 1/2 hour drive. Just realized I didn't take very many good pics of the Berlin wall with my camera but I know my friends did so I will get them to send them to me and I will post them later.

Location of the Fuhrerbunker wher Hitler spent his last days underground. The bunker was completely destroyed by the Russians. An apartment complex was built here after the war.

Koblenz

I went to a city called Koblenz on Saturday. It is one of the major cities on the famous Rhein river. There are apparently castles all along the river. I found out I have to book boat rides ahead of time through my local travel office to get a good seat but here is the only good picture I was able to get while I was there. Click it and it will give you a better view.

Snowboarding in Garmisch

I just got back from my trip to the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch, Germany. I had a blast snowboarding. I skiied a little when I was younger but have never really been snowboarding. I fell a lot but had a great time and can't wait to go back. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was on the mountain all day. Edelweiss resort is property owned by the government specifically for military and department of defense families taking a break. The resort is really nice. Garmisch is in the Bavarian Alps right near the Austrian border. The first picture is the view from my room and the rest are views from the top of the Zugspitze mountain.
