Snowboarding in Garmisch
I just got back from my trip to the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch, Germany. I had a blast snowboarding. I skiied a little when I was younger but have never really been snowboarding. I fell a lot but had a great time and can't wait to go back. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was on the mountain all day. Edelweiss resort is property owned by the government specifically for military and department of defense families taking a break. The resort is really nice. Garmisch is in the Bavarian Alps right near the Austrian border. The first picture is the view from my room and the rest are views from the top of the Zugspitze mountain.

Prague, Czech Republic
I am little late posting this one but here are some pictures of my Prague trip. We had a really nice apartment right in the middle of the downtown area for a cheap rate. Their currency is called the Czech Krone and there are about 20 or so Krones to the dollar. We partied a lot at night and saw a really interesting castle compound during the day at the top of the city.
