Snowboarding in Garmisch

I just got back from my trip to the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch, Germany. I had a blast snowboarding. I skiied a little when I was younger but have never really been snowboarding. I fell a lot but had a great time and can't wait to go back. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was on the mountain all day. Edelweiss resort is property owned by the government specifically for military and department of defense families taking a break. The resort is really nice. Garmisch is in the Bavarian Alps right near the Austrian border. The first picture is the view from my room and the rest are views from the top of the Zugspitze mountain.

    Hey Jeff,

    This place is beautiful. Its seems really unusual to see snow after being in south kakalaki so long. Thats great you got to go and you liked snowboarding. It looks like a lot of fun.
