Prague, Czech Republic
I am little late posting this one but here are some pictures of my Prague trip. We had a really nice apartment right in the middle of the downtown area for a cheap rate. Their currency is called the Czech Krone and there are about 20 or so Krones to the dollar. We partied a lot at night and saw a really interesting castle compound during the day at the top of the city.

Hey Jeff,
ReplyDeleteHope you got my phone call this morning. Just a quick hello.
Prague is very interesting but the Edelweiss Lodge is bodacious. It's just what we imagined the Alps to look like. Hopefully, there will be some snow in the mountains in September and we can stay there. Beebs would like to visit a city of your choice but our main interest would be the beautiful countryside. We haven't seen mountains in a long time. Our sand dunes just don't compete with those mountain peaks.
It's your vacation too, so please plan our six days around things that you would like to see and do. Maybe places that you haven't seen would be best.
I called off the boat deal due to the fact that's it's been almost a month and the accessories still haven't come in. Now where searching the internet and newspaper for the next potential Sweetpea and will keep you informed.
By the way, the renters living in Mimi's house are moving out in three days and I will have to list the house with a realtor. I just had it appraised for $200,000 and offered the couple a price of $170,000 but they want something cheaper. Whatever we get is going to the nursing home just like all of Mimi's life savings. She didn't put anything in our name and left us with nothing but headaches.
Any idea of where you'll be traveling to next?
Fascinating pictures. I love castles. It's hard to believe you're standing in a place that is so old and has so much history. I don't like to think about some of the stuff that must have happened in them, though! I love cathedrals also. I would love to walk in to each one, sit and meditate and listen to the beautiful pipe organs I'm sure many of them have.
ReplyDeleteYou're learning so much about the history, currency and cultures of different places you've been. I still think you need to write a book or articles in a magazine or something. I'm so glad you at least have this for us to look at.
I'm looking forward to the next adventure!
Love you.
