Anyways, I will quit my complaining. I am getting settled in a little better now. I found an apartment in a village called Weilerbach just outside of Kaiserslautern. Kaiserslautern is a major city and there are many villages surrounding it, including several US military bases. Here are some pictures of my apartment. The apartment is 105 square meters (about 1130 square feet) so there is plenty of room for whoever wants to visit. I could have actually found something nicer but I was sold on the view from the balcony. The rent is monthly so if I find another place I like better later on, I will move.
Comment if you want or if you have problems creating an account, just shoot me an e-mail and let me know what you think.
Nice balcony view. I can understand why you picked that place.
ReplyDeleteThe streets in Germany are very clean. Don't they throw trash everywhere like us Americans?
Gary,
ReplyDeleteThey are very clean here. They have a very strict recycling plan. One of the briefs I had when I first got here put it perfectly. Germany is about the size of Montana. There are 82 million people living in Germany and 902,000 living in Montana. They have to have a good system or it will fall apart.
